Love it! You can really see the paleness of Thingol's face, foreshadowing what is about to happen. And you can see the tension in the dwarves...

I love your style. It unlike others I've seen is not entirely based on the Lotr movies but the clothing hair and facials look like they belong in middle earth

others make them look nothing like what we see in the movies. I like when we stick with the movies adaptation of middle earth the style they had for all the races just fit them so well. The flowing hair and clothing, and elegantly made weapons and armour for the elves. Blund an heavy clothing armour and weapons with epic beards for the dwarves. fantastic medieval looking stuff for the humans. And the cozy outfits and altogether homebody feel when it comes to the hobbits. then the crudeness of the orcs. I just loved everything to do with the visuality of the movie. And your drawings.

I also like how they have developed a visual image of Middle-earth.Despite the fact that there are those who do not accept all the adaptations, adhering to their views about the world.Well...that's their opinion. But I draw...thinking like if they were to make a film - what would it look like.

Wow, this is a lot of scenes from the Silmarillion. It becomes so alive with these pictures. Well, the dwarves look a bit influenced by Peter "Brain Dead" Jackson's latest movie but that is isn't a bad thing.

All of your pieces tend to be brilliant, there is no denying that, and in case of this one I love the way your King glows with elven glory! His pose, hair, and the way his robes flow are magnificent. Great work!

amazing pic, i take it its thingol asking the dwarves to set the silmaril in the nauglamir?

He knows that it`s Nauglamir connected to the silmarill - dwarves worked in his home.I think he simply admires them....Actually I made a big mistake - this episode was to be the last day of Thingol and the dwarves were to be armed.

well there shouldnt be the other elves there, as thingol was alone with the dwarves. and shouldnt the light be coming from the silmarill and not from behind thingol?

In both trilogies Elrond,Thingol and Galadriel+Celeborn also had a retinue. So I followed the example of Peter.
And yes...the light from the necklace should be ahead, but then he would have completely obscured the face of the king.Hmm...maybe i was wrong of course...

"How do ye of uncouth race dare to demand aught of me, Elu Thingol, Lord of Beleriand, whose life began by the waters of Cuivienen years uncounted ere the fathers of the stunted people awoke?”

One of my favourite lines from the Silmarillion, lol. Great job on everything; but my first reaction was, "now those are some proper looking dwarves..."

I absolutely adore this art. Those dwarves and guards are truly magnificent, I also like Nauglamir a lot, though it seems strange that the Jewel should give off so much light and yet remain kinda dark-ish. Love the design of Thingol's robes (that texture at the bottom! <3) and there is only one thing on this picture that I do not adore at all - Thingol's face. Not sure why, but it simply seems... Well, a bit ugly. Maybe it's a lighting issue, not sure about that. Nevermind, it does not detract from the whole picture all that much.

Nope, still no handsome Thingol in sight. Oh, well, Melian loved him anyway. Though the longer I look at him, the better he looks. And, boy, am I looking!
You know what... He's grown on me. Looks kinda Celeborn-ish, actually. Hey, he's quite fine! Yep, your art is reprogramming my poor brain.

Обожаю "Yea, more" и "Maedhros rebuked Caranthir".<3
